Sit 'n Sleep and Tempur-Pedic Donate Two Thousand Mattresses to LA Family Housing in Honor of Veterans Day & Homelessness Awareness Month

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Iconic mattress retailer Sit 'n Sleep announced today that it teamed with Tempur Sealy International, Inc. to donate two thousand Tempur-Pedic mattresses to LA Family Housing, a regional leader providing solutions to end homelessness in people's lives.  

The donation is made in honor of Veterans Day and to bring attention to LA County's homeless crisis during Homelessness Awareness Month. To celebrate this donation and our Veterans, an event is being held at LA Family Housing's Bridge Housing campus on Thursday, November 10^th.

The impact of this donation will extend far beyond the Veteran community. The Tempur-Pedic mattresses being donated will be distributed to formerly homeless families and individuals throughout Los Angeles who have recently found homes through LA Family Housing.

The event to recognize the homeless veterans living at LA Family Housing Bridge Housing is being held on Thursday, November 10^th from 10:30AM – 1:00PM.
