Sixpoint Partners Appoints Michael Leonardo as Vice President, West Coast Distribution
Promotes Three Investment Professionals
NEW YORK, Feb. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Sixpoint Partners ("Sixpoint"), a leading global investment bank serving the middle market, today announced the appointment of Michael Leonardo as Vice President, West Coast Distribution, and the promotions of three long-standing members in the New York office, deepening its distribution and origination capabilities. Mr. Leonardo's appointment and the promotions are effective immediately.
Mr. Leonardo joins from Ironwood Capital Management where he was an Associate Vice President, responsible for developing and maintaining the firm's distribution and platform relationships. Previously, he worked at BlackRock where he advised institutional clients on customized portfolios and SMAs through the US Wealth Advisory and Global Client Group. He will be based in Sixpoint's San Francisco office.

Sean Joffe has been promoted to Director. He has successfully managed LP relationships and provided senior coverage in the New England, Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Mr. Joffe has also played an instrumental role in growing the Sixpoint account base across all three strategic markets.
Ryan Carey has been promoted to Director as well. Mr. Carey has been a key contributor to the distribution team by managing relationships in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast U.S. As a Director, he will expand his responsibilities to include origination efforts as he works to identify new business opportunities and grow Sixpoint's client base in the mid-market buyout space.
Ben Newman has been promoted to Vice President. While at Sixpoint, Mr. Newman has developed a deep expertise in project management and due diligence in both the primary and secondary markets. His promotion is in recognition of his increased client management responsibilities across the platform.
