Sixpoint Partners Appoints Shawn R. Schestag as Managing Director and Head of Secondary Advisory & Co-Investment Practices
NEW YORK, Feb. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Sixpoint Partners, a leading global investment bank serving the middle market alternatives industry, today announced the appointment of Shawn R. Schestag as Managing Director and Head of Secondary Advisory & Co-Investment, expanding the firm's team to 16 professionals across four offices in North America and Asia. In his new role, Mr. Schestag will focus on origination, due diligence, and transaction execution across both business verticals.
Mr. Schestag brings to Sixpoint Partners nearly 15 years of investment banking experience, focused on the private equity industry. Previously, Mr. Schestag served in the Private Fund Group at Credit Suisse, where he was a senior member in the Secondary Advisory practice and executed a range of secondary transactions on behalf of institutional investors and private investment firms. Mr. Schestag began his investment banking career in Credit Suisse's Financial Sponsors Group, executing debt and equity financing transactions and financial advisory assignments on behalf of large-cap and middle market private equity firms.
