Sixt expands its network in the Caribbean - Opening of new operation in Puerto Rico and Curacao

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., July 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Sixt rent car is expanding its presence in the Caribbean market and announces the opening of two new car rental operations in Puerto Rico and Curacao as of June 1^st, 2014. Both islands will be operated by experienced Franchise partners.

Puerto Rico

In Puerto Rico, Sixt will start with a shuttle service to San Juan Airport, offering its clients a fleet ranging from Economy to Luxury vehicles. Further expansion on the island and a new flagship branch are planned for 2015. The opening of a strong presence in Puerto Rico goes along with the fast growing expansion of Sixt in the USA and will further strengthen the presence of Sixt in this region.

Curacao

Sixt Curacao - one of the main destinations for European travelers in the Caribbean - will operate a total of four locations, including an in-terminal airport location at the International Airport of Willemstad/ Curacao (CUR). The fleet ranges from Mini to Standard categories, including 7-seaters and SUV vehicles.
