Skanska publishes Annual and Sustainability Report 2024: Solid performance and strong financial position

STOCKHOLM, March 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Skanska has published its Annual and Sustainability Report for 2024, including a version in European Single Electronic Format (ESEF). The report includes financial statements and an overall summary of our performance of the year. For Skanska, 2024 was characterized by yet another year of solid delivery in our Construction business stream. Sales increased on gradually recovering markets in Project Development and we added two more properties in our high-quality office property portfolio in Investment Properties. Our financial position remains robust. Considering performance, the state of the market and our financial strength, the Skanska's Board of Directors propose a dividend of SEK 8.00 per share (5.50).

We continued to make progress on our sustainability targets in 2024. Carbon emissions in our own operations, scope 1 and 2, were 61 percent lower than the benchmark year 2015 and carbon emissions in the value chain, scope 3, were 37 percent lower than the benchmark year 2020. We remain committed to our target of reaching net zero carbon emissions by 2045.

We also provide an insight into some of our most existing projects we worked on during the year.
