SmarterBucks Launches SmarterBucks Surveys

BOSTON, June 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SmarterBucks^®, a revolutionary rewards program that helps pay down your student loans faster, announced today a new feature called SmarterBucks Surveys. This feature allows members to earn additional rewards at no cost—simply by taking online surveys. Those rewards, along with any other SmarterBucks rewards a member has earned, are automatically applied as extra payments on any student loan.

SmarterBucks Surveys offers a spend-free way for SmarterBucks members to earn rewards. Users fill out an online profile, get matched to surveys by sponsoring brands, and then earn SmarterBucks rewards for sharing their opinion. The more profiles a user fills out, the more surveys they will qualify for. SmarterBucks Surveys are generally worth between $.50-$5 in SmarterBucks, which means a typical user completing just one to two surveys a week could earn $5-$10 in SmarterBucks per month. That has the potential to reduce their debt by thousands of dollars over the life of a loan, and even reduce the overall loan repayment period.  (For example, based on a $15,000 loan over 10 years at 6.8% interest, applying these additional SmarterBucks from the start of repayment could result in over $1500 of reduced debt and a 15-month reduction in the loan repayment period.)
