IRVINE, Calif., June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- SMC Networks, a leading provider of Customer Premise Equipment to service providers, today announced the promotion of Todd Babic to the position of President of SMC Networks, effective immediately.
Babic has served SMC since 2002, and spent the last two years as Vice President of Sales, Broadband Business Development for North America. As one of SMC's Broadband Development Group's first employees, Babic led SMC's rapid sales growth and helped grow SMC into a respected industry leader.

He will work closely with the executive management team to identify new strategic growth opportunities globally for SMC while continuing to implement SMC's corporate priorities.

Prior to SMC, Babic held business development roles with Rogers Cablesystems, one of the largest MSOs in Canada, and Novus Telecom, a fiber-to-the-MDU MSO based in Vancouver, Canada.
