VuMee, a social media platform for celebrities, brands and fans, plans to use this SMS Short Code messaging technology by creating a single, mobile entry point for public figures and brands to deliver multi-platform content to highly engaged mobile customers.
SMS Short Codes are special numbers that are shorter than telephone numbers. Most people are familiar with Short Codes by the 5 or 6 digit codes used to text your vote to shows like 'American Idol'. They are designed to be easier to remember than a telephone number.
VuMee's SMS Short Code messaging platform will be advantageous for many reasons:
