SnipSnap Selects Indix to Power Mobile Price Match Concierge

SEATTLE, Dec. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Indix, the cloud-based Product Intelligence company that provides product information for innovative businesses building new commerce models, today announced that SnipSnap has selected Indix to power its competitive price match feature 'Scout' within its SnipSnap app. Through its Product API, Indix provides SnipSnap with access to product pricing and store information on more than 800 million products, enabling Scout users to save money with every purchase.

In the market today, the price matching process is clunky with individual retailers adhering to their own policies, making it difficult for shoppers to track which rules apply to each retailer. The Indix Product API helps SnipSnap simplify the price matching process. Users of SnipSnap's Scout feature can now match specific products with the preferred retailers that both sell the product and will match the price of their competitors. For instance, Scout allows users to submit photos of products in a chat-like interface, which then pulls in product data from the Indix Product API to suggest retailers that will price match based on a user's shopping preferences.
