Sociable Labs Appoints James Donelan as VP of Engineering

 

SAN MATEO, Calif., Dec. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sociable Labs™, a leading provider of on-site social commerce solutions, today announced the appointment of industry veteran James Donelan as Vice President of Engineering. Donelan brings more than 15 years of technology and software engineering leadership experience with large-scale enterprise systems, further expanding the company's deep expertise in social commerce and the emerging field of social design.

Donelan joins Sociable Labs from Lithium Technologies where he served as Vice President of Engineering. In that role, Donelan managed architecture and engineering for an enterprise platform hosting more than 250 social communities with billions of transactions per month, and was the driving force behind 25 new product releases. Prior to that, Donelan served in key technology leadership roles at start-up travel site TouristR, SaaS-based enterprise platform Ezrez Software and CRM pioneer E.piphany/INFOR. Prior to these roles, Donelan served as Director of Technology for Charles Schwab Corporation.
