Sockerbit and Sprouts Debut Swedish Pick & Mix in a Strategic Pilot Rollout

The rollout marks a category-expanding step for the Swedish candy brand and the debut of two new flavors

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Sockerbit, the Swedish candy company that introduced Swedish Pick & Mix to the U.S. in 2010, announced a new partnership with Sprouts Farmers Market. Sockerbit will launch across packaged and bulk formats, with packaged candy arriving in nearly 500 Sprouts stores nationwide in October and a Swedish Pick & Mix program debuting today in 17 stores across California and Florida.

Rooted in Swedish candy tradition, Pick & Mix lets shoppers select individual candies from a wide assortment to create their own mix. The Sockerbit x Sprouts initiative marks the first Swedish Pick & Mix experience at a national natural grocery retailer.

Shoppers can create their own mix from 12 varieties, including four exclusive to Sprouts, available in the bulk department. Sprouts will also carry a 12-SKU assortment of Sockerbit packaged candy nationwide, with no high-fructose corn syrup or Red 40, and products made with natural flavors and colors.

"This launch is meaningful to me because Pick & Mix has always been part of how I grew up with candy," said Stefan Ernberg, Co-Founder of Sockerbit. "My 85-year-old mother has been taking part in this tradition for nearly 75 years and still does today. The Dream Series, Sockerbit's best-selling line of soft, aerated foam candy, is expanding beyond its original Strawberry Dream flavor for the first time. Banana Dream and Sour Berry Dream are available exclusively in Sprouts bulk. Sockerbit Mallows are also making their grocery debut at Sprouts, led by Sour Peach, a new flavor launching exclusively with the retailer.
