Soleil Securities Adds Veteran Software Analyst Neil Herman
NEW YORK, April 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Soleil Securities Corporation, a provider of value-added, independent equity research, sales, trading and execution services, announced today the addition of veteran research analyst Neil Herman to its platform.

Mr. Herman covers the software sector as President of Herman Advisors. Prior to this, Mr. Herman founded Equinance Corporation, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company providing interactive financial models over the Internet. He previously was a Managing Director at Stanford Financial Group covering software companies as a research analyst. From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Herman served as the senior software analyst at Lehman Brothers and was promoted to Managing Director. During his tenure at Lehman, he was ranked every year by Institutional Investor as a member of the All-America Research Team for his coverage of the software sector. Prior to Lehman, Mr. Herman spent nearly five years at Salomon Brothers and Salomon Smith Barney, where he received his first recognition by Institutional Investor in 1999. Earlier in his career, he held a position in the equity research department at PaineWebber after garnering a deep understanding of technology as an independent computer consultant. Neil received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
