The new Solnul^® trial advances the evidence base by intentionally repeating the same dose and same protocol to achieve the same results. About the Study
A four-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in 74 healthy adults found that 3.5 g of Solnul^® daily increased the relative abundance of Bifidobacterium and Akkermansia and increased the number of normal stools compared with placebo.ⁱ Participants taking Solnul^® also experienced an increase in bowel movement frequency and a greater reduction in days without a bowel movement, with no effect on gastrointestinal symptoms. These findings reinforce Solnul^® as a prebiotic and reproduce key microbiome outcomes, stool form benefits, and tolerability observed in the earlier study.
