Solway Investment Group Enters Argentina

Solway Investment group is pleased to announce the official opening of San Jorge Project office in Argentina. The Cyprus-based Investment group sees the event as another milestone in Solway's development strategy in the region. By opening a fully operational office in cooperation with Aterra Investments Ltd. and Coro mining Corp in the province of Mendoza the company's owners would like to confirm their long-lasting plans in further development of the Project located in the area.

San Jorge is a PFS stage heap leach copper project with a proposed open pit mine to extract oxide and enriched material. The proposed SXEW plant, acid plant and heap leach pads would be located in the neighbouring San Juan province. With mineral reserves of 48.4 million tonnes and an average grade of 0.61%CuT of which 55% is oxide and 45% is enriched,(1) the PFS proposed production would be 24k tpy of copper cathodes over a 10 year mine life.

Prior to this event Solway Industries Ltd., a subsidiary of the Solway Investment Group, signed a Definitive Agreement with a group comprised of Aterra Investments Ltd. and Coro mining Corp. that regulates the terms and conditions of the interest acquirement in San Jorge project.
