Sonata Senior Living Breaks Ground On New, State-Of-The-Art Resort Retirement Community Located In Winter Garden, Sonata West

Sonata West will be a $30 million, 139,000 square foot, resort-style rental community, which upon completion will employ 50 people and include 113 spacious apartments with state-of-the-art amenities.  Expected to open in March 2017, the community will feature 78 Independent Living apartments and 35 Assisted Living apartments for residents in need of personal care services. The community will also offer 10 exclusive "Club Level" apartments featuring upgraded finishes and special access.

Many dignitaries attended the ground breaking including Winter Garden City Manager Mike Bollhoefer, Colin Sharman, Winter Garden City Commissioner, Stina D'Uva, President West Orange Chamber of Commerce and Cindy Brown, Community Relations Manager to Congressman Daniel Webster.

The Sonata West building design will reflect the feel of a five-star resort with luxurious amenities inside and outside.  Upon entering, you will experience upscale Florida charm with lofty ceilings and grand views outside to a resort-style water fountain and pool. Independent residents may choose from studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom apartments that offer full size appliances, all utilities including phone, cable, Wi-Fi connectivity, housekeeping, maintenance and meals.  Residents will enjoy an array of hospitality services and amenities including formal and informal dining venues, multiple lounge areas for socializing, general store, full  fitness room, bar & bistro, full service salon, library and internet hub, arts & crafts room, solarium, multi-purpose theatre, and card & billiards room.

The community will also offer assisted living apartments for residents needing personal care services allowing them to "age in place".

Multiple wellness venues include a dedicated therapy room, fully equipped fitness center, and pool designed for water aerobic exercise classes.

Adjacent to the building is the recreation area that includes a covered pavilion and outdoor grill area, bocce ball court, and access to a quarter-mile pedestrian path.

Two expansive interior amenity courtyards provide residents with easy and secure access to the pool, covered lanais, fire pit and outdoor eating spaces where residents can read, relax and socialize with family and friends.
