Sonata Software Opens US Development Facility at Redmond

BANGALORE, India, February 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --

Sonata Software, a global IT software services provider, today opened a new Software Development Facility in Redmond, Washington. The centre was inaugurated by City Council President, Hank Margeson. The centre is part of Sonata's strategy to be a truly global company and will help Sonata serve its clients better in an increasingly changing global delivery model that demands closer interaction with clients.

Sonata is expanding its existing talent in US operations with this facility to over 100+ employees, to better service the needs of its long standing customers. In a bid to provide quality career opportunities locally, Sonata has recently started recruiting talent from the University of Washington and Washington State University through its LEAD program which has seen a good response. In LEAD, Sonata provides a comprehensively designed approach that balances the needs of graduates and the dynamic opportunities in the IT industry. The program combines an Earn-as-you-Learn paid training phase in emerging new technology areas, with subsequent opportunities to work on projects with marquee clients.
