Sono-Tek Announces Signing of Exclusive Distribution Agreement
MILTON, N.Y., Feb. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Sono-Tek Corporation (OTC QB: SOTK) is pleased to announce the signing of an exclusive Distribution Agreement with Mercer Group Limited (NZE: MGL) of Onehunga, Auckland, New Zealand.
Sono-Tek Corporation is a leader in ultrasonic spray coating of liquid ingredients onto food products. Its SonoCoat AM systems are used by meat processors in the USA and Europe to apply antimicrobial coatings onto Ready-To-Eat (RTE) sliced meat products, to increase shelf life and enhance safety in a regulatory validated process.
Mercer Group Limited, through its Titan Slicing Systems subsidiary, provides food processors worldwide with superior slicing solutions. Its line of industrial scale, high speed meat slicers are designed and constructed to deliver high throughput, higher yields, superior quality and safer products.
SonoCoat AM ultrasonic coaters have already been installed in concert with Titan meat slicers in three installations and together they deliver unmatched meat slicing and coating performance.
The exclusive Distribution Agreement between Sono-Tek and Mercer provides meat processors in New Zealand and in Australia, as well as Titan slicer users worldwide, access to the full range of Sono-Tek's state of the art antimicrobial spray coating systems. It adds valuable product offerings to Titan's customer base, and potentially opens new markets for Sono-Tek.
A team of Sono-Tek and Titan experts will be available during the Anuga FoodTec trade show in Cologne, Germany, March 24 – 27, 2015 to meet with customers and discuss their new products.
