Key Takeaways:

• Sonus' virtual solutions selected to support Dimension4's Microsoft Skype for Business Enterprise solution, SKYPEvault.
• Sonus' virtual portfolio addresses service providers' requirements for Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) by providing them with the ability to scale with Cloud-based delivery platforms.
• Sonus' Session Border Controller (SBC) and Policy (PSX) portfolio integrate with Skype for Business deployments, whether on-premises, managed, hybrid or Office 365.

Sonus Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: SONS), a global leader in secure and intelligent Cloud communications, announced today that Dimension4, a leading provider of secure Cloud-based solutions, selected Sonus' SBC Software Edition (SWe) and PSX SWe to enable secure, reliable and scalable real-time communications for its SKYPEvault Unified Communications-as-a-Service (UCaaS) solution.

SKYPEvault leverages Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) to deliver a range of Skype for Business services to enterprises. Dimension4 needed a way to secure its VoIP border, enable provisioning of cost-efficient UCaaS services and reduce operating costs.

Sonus' SBC SWe and PSX SWe provide the ability to quickly turn-up SBC and routing functionality to deliver built-in media transcoding, network security, robust SIP interworking, intelligent routing and simplified network management within public and private virtual environments.  Dimension4 chose the SBC SWe and PSX SWe to reduce the time, risk and expense of introducing new services within its network. The deployment flexibility and scalability of these Cloud-ready products make them the ideal choice for Dimension4's growing operational strategy.
