CULVER CITY, Calif., Jan. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Sony Movie Channel (SMC), the premier HD TV movie destination for Hollywood film fans, has signed a new multi-year distribution agreement with Massillon Cable TV (now known as MCTV), a prominent member of both the American Cable Association (ACA) and the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC). MCTV serves customers in Massillon, Wooster and the surrounding communities in Ohio. On Jan. 1, MCTV launched Sony Movie Channel as part of its Basic Plus Package on channels 715 (HD) and 115 (SD). The deal includes linear, Video-on-Demand and TV Everywhere (TVE) rights for MCTV subscribers.
MCTV's customers will enjoy SMC's all out entertainment experience, bringing together the most exciting westerns, crime, comedy and action movies available. All films on SMC are broadcast in HD, uncut and uncensored, providing viewers with the highest quality viewing experience on television. This month, the network is highlighting spaghetti westerns like THE BIG GUNDOWN with Lee Van Cleef as well as the broadcast premieres of OPERATION ROGUE and STRANGER WITHIN.
