Sorrento Pacific Financial and CUSO Financial Services Launch Mobile Scanning Application to Increase Efficiencies for Advisors

SAN DIEGO, Nov. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Sister companies, Sorrento Pacific Financial, LLC (SPF) and CUSO Financial Services, L.P. (CFS), full-service broker dealers and SEC Registered Investment Advisers providing customized investment and insurance solutions to financial institutions, have released a new mobile scanning application for advisors to use out in the field to increase their efficiencies. The application securely captures documentation and meets with regulatory compliance requirements.

The free application is downloadable from the Apple App Store now for any iOS user, including iPad®, iPod® and iPhone® devices. A version for Android® devices is in beta testing and will be available later this year. It allows an advisor to snap a photo of a client's documentation for investments, securely captures it and uploads it automatically into dataVISION, a proprietary, secure electronic, web-based account management system used by the companies' advisors to simplify administration, communications, sales, and reporting functions.
