In his new post, Wenger will serve as editor-in-chief of Financial Planning and manage editorial operations for the Investment Advisor Group. Additionally, he will bring 25 years of experience, insight and expertise to contribute across the Professional Services and Technology groups and all of SourceMedia.
Prior to joining SourceMedia, Wenger led editorial teams at some of the nation's top media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, Harford Courant, Dow Jones News Service, CNBC, CNN and, most recently, The New York Daily News.
At the Daily News, Wenger managed all story planning, assigning and editing for the paper's Money and Business Section. He also served as Deputy National-Foreign Editor (during which time he authored a weeklong series on China's economic expansion and the implications for the U.S.); Deputy Metro Editor, where he focused on daily and investigative coverage; and Business Editor, where he supervised the Daily News' coverage of Wall Street.
