Southeastern Grocers Names CaptureRx as Exclusive 340B Administrator

SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Southeastern Grocers, one of the largest conventional supermarket companies in the U. S., announced a new relationship with CaptureRx as its exclusive 340B administrator for in-store pharmacies across all four of its brands: BI-LO, Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket and Winn-Dixie. Under the new arrangement, Southeastern Grocers will leverage CaptureRx's CaptureConnect^TM solution to manage inventory, financial flow, eligibility and compliance for the 340B program.

The 340B drug discount program allows eligible hospitals and clinics to realize drug cost savings whenever patients fill prescriptions at a contracted pharmacy – provided that a list of eligibility requirements are met. By selecting CaptureRx, a healthcare technology company and leading 340B solution provider, Southeastern Grocers aims to reinvigorate working relationships and engagement with their 340B business partners.

The transition to CaptureConnect will begin immediately. Hospitals and clinics already contracted with a Southeastern Grocers pharmacy may keep their existing 340B program administrator and follow a transition plan provided by Southeastern Grocers, or they can opt to contract directly with CaptureRx. To add a new Southeastern Grocers pharmacy, providers can reach out to their current 340B administrator or contact CaptureRx.
