RALEIGH, N.C., Feb. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Carolina-South Atlantic Chapter (CaSA) of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) will host more than 1,000 life science professionals from major pharmaceutical companies in the southeast and beyond at the 24th Annual ISPE-CaSA Life Sciences Technology Conference on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, from 10 a.m. though 7 p.m. at the Raleigh Convention Center, 500 S. Salisbury St., Raleigh, N.C.
The 2017 conference will feature 200 exhibitors, multiple tracks of continuing education programming, and a special education session for students and young professionals.
Each year, the event's planners raise money through conference proceeds, a day-long raffle and a silent auction for a charity related to the health care industry. This year, proceeds will go to benefit the V Foundation for Cancer Research, established in 1993 by ESPN and legendary basketball coach Jim Valvano, who died of cancer in 1993. With a goal to achieve victory over cancer, the V Foundation has awarded over $170 million in cancer research grants nationwide and has become one of the premier supporters of cutting-edge cancer research funds.
The event is open to the public. Registration fees are $65 for members and $75 for nonmembers. Registration at the door on the day of the event is $85. Student registration fees are $15 for members and $25 for nonmembers. Registration includes food, parking and beverages throughout the day. The event will conclude with a reception for all attendees featuring complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.
