MIAMI, Oct. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- (Big Time Media/SBS-MegaTV) -- Spanish Broadcasting System Inc., (SBS) (Nasdaq: SBSA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Shadorf to Vice President of Corporate Sales-West Coast Market Manager for Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc, (SBS). Mr. Shadorf will oversee all sales and operations for SBS West Coast Division. He will also be responsible for growing and overseeing the revenue in all of the company's divisions for the West Coast market. Based in Los Angeles, California, he will report directly to Albert Rodriguez, COO of SBS.

Prior to joining Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. (SBS), Mr. Shadorf served as VP of Univision Radio Corporate sales for four years, and previously held positions in Univision Radio, as VP, Director of Sales for three years during his tenure, he increased annual gross revenues from $55M to nearly $90M.  For two years Bill served as General Sales Manager for the San Francisco Bay area market where he increased annual revenues by 30%. From 1996 to 2003, Mr. Shadorf served as General Sales Manager of K101- KYLD AM-FM radio stations from Clear Channel Communications.

Mr. Shadorf currently serves as a member of the Hispanic Media Professionals Association, Media Buyers/Planners Network, Media Professionals Association San Francisco Bay Area, RFID, Radio & Television Professionals Network, Talking Radio, ThoseinMedia, amongst others.

Mr. Shadorf has been recognized by and received awards from numerous organizations during his career. Mr. Shadorf holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Communication from the San Diego State University and California State University.
