Company Adds Fred Ouellette, Program Manager for Human Spaceflight and Energy Services
BOULDER, Colo., Aug. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Special Aerospace Services (SAS), a leader in aerospace systems engineering solutions, announced today that it has named Fred Ouellette as the Company's Program Manager for Human Spaceflight and Energy Services.
SAS is a high technology services and systems company supporting NASA, DoD, and the commercial space industry through systems engineering, Spaceflight Safety™, digital manufacturing, special research & development, launch services, and mission analysis. Mr. Ouellette will support the Company's commercial crew and energy activities in the Houston area.

Ouellette joins SAS from Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, where he spent the past 24 years working for NASA in the Engineering Directorate, Space Shuttle Program Orbiter Project Office, Commercial Crew Program and the Multi Purpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV) Program Office. For the past year, he was on detail from the MPCV Program Office to Kennedy Space Center as the Deputy Manager of the Orion Production Office overseeing the assembly and test of the Orion Exploration Flight Test 1 Spacecraft.
Ouellette received his MBA from the University of Houston and his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and the National Management Association.
