Spectrum Pharmacy Products Salutes Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians on National Pharmacist Day

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J., Jan. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- In recognition of National Pharmacist Day on January 12, Spectrum Pharmacy Products, a leading North American manufacturer and distributor of pharmaceutical compounding chemicals, equipment  and supplies, would like to acknowledge the significant role of pharmacists in healthcare and patient outcomes.

National Pharmacist Day is observed annually on January 12.  The day has been set aside to recognize and honor all pharmacists across the nation.

In the aftermath of hurricane devastation in Houston, Texas and Puerto Rico, pharmacists were among the first volunteers even though many of them were also hard hit by the hurricanes. Amid havoc, they were traveling to shelters to check on patients' needs and to make sure they had their medications.
