BEIJING, Aug. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Spencer Stuart, a leading global executive search consulting firm, announced the addition of three new consultants in its Beijing office. The additions reflect the firm's continuing commitment to and expansion across Greater China.

Spencer Stuart opened its Hong Kong office in 1977, later establishing offices in Shanghai in 1994 and Beijing in 1995. The Spencer Stuart team in Greater China now numbers more than 40, including 13 senior consultants across the Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong offices. Further additions are anticipated this year.

Joining Spencer Stuart in Beijing are Jiang Lei, Jian Wu and Katherine Zheng.
Jiang Lei is a member of the Spencer Stuart's Industrial and Financial Services practices and leads the firm's effort in developing relationships with Chinese enterprises.
With over 16 years of search experience, Jiang Lei has been an industry pioneer in China. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, he was a partner with another leading executive search firm, where he served Chinese and multinational clients across industries. Before entering the search industry, Jiang Lei worked for a leading Chinese company under the State Physical Culture and Sports Commission. During this time, he gained extensive experience in advertising, marketing and public relations while organizing major international sporting events throughout China.Lei received a bachelor's degree from Beijing University.
Jian Wu has 20 years of global experience and knowledge of general management, operations leadership, marketing, sales and technology acquired through diverse industry experience in the U.S. and Asia. A member of the firm's Industrial and Private Equity Practices, Wu focuses on senior-level general management and functional executive assignments for clients across a wide range of industry sectors.
Wu joined Spencer Stuart following 16 years at Weyerhaeuser, where he served most recently as managing director of Weyerhaeuser Forestry China and chairman of Weyerhaeuser's Chinese joint venture. Born and raised in Mainland China, Wu graduated from Northwestern Agricultural University in Yangling, China. He earned both an M.S. and a Ph.D. from the University of Washington in Seattle.
Katherine Zheng is a member of the firm's Industrial and Technology, Communications & Media practices and brings more than 15 years of global executive search experience to her role. While she has worked in Europe, Asia, the United States and Canada, she has largely been based in Beijing, where she has advised both multinational and local companies across varied sectors of the industrial and technology landscape.
Zheng holds a bachelor's degree from Beijing's Capital Normal University and a master's degree from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
These appointments follow the addition of Helen Tantau to the Shanghai office earlier in the year. Tantau is a member of the Consumer Goods & Services and the Industrial practices at Spencer Stuart and has been active in executive search and industry in China for over 20 years.
