Spencer Stuart Makes Important Addition to Greater China Team

HONG KONG, Jan. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Spencer Stuart, a leading global executive search consulting firm, today announced that Alice Au has joined its growing team across Greater China.

With over 15 years of search experience, Alice Au is a recognized expert at the senior executive and board levels within China and across Asia. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, she was a partner with another prominent executive search firm, where she led that firm's CEO and board services practice in Asia Pacific and consulted with a wide range of clients in the private equity and financial services sectors. She was also recently appointed as a part-time member of the Central Policy Unit of the Government of the Hong Kong SAR.

Alice Au began her career as a semiconductor engineer at Digital Equipment in the U.S. and subsequently joined McKinsey & Company as a consultant. She later joined International Paper in Corporate Development in New York, where she led cross-functional teams across multiple assignments in North America, Europe and Asia. She returned to Hong Kong in 1993 to establish a China fund and to advise midsize international companies on their China entry strategies. She has a BS degree in chemical engineering from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
