The Trust The Bum campaign is built on a simple idea: when it comes to sun care, trust the ones who know it best. More than just a tagline, Trust The Bum is Sun Bum's mission of creating trusted, high-quality sun care products that keep people protected, and making sun safety education fun, engaging, and accessible. And now, with the Trust The Bum Tour, Sun Bum is taking that mission on the road, meeting people where they are and showing firsthand how seamlessly sun protection can fit into any lifestyle.
Where The Tour Is Heading
The Trust The Bum Tour officially kicks off in New York City on April 19th with a taco truck takeover in SoHo, where locals can grab free tacos, free Sun Bum products, and learn about the benefits of sun care–all against the backdrop of a newly unveiled hand-painted mural featuring the brand's infamous mascot, Sonny. From there, the tour will travel across the country, bringing unique experiences to every stop–whether it's catching waves in Waco, playing bocce ball at a nursing home in Plano, or celebrating music in New Orleans.

- Waco, TX: May 10th, Rattlesnake Milk Live on Sonny's Porch at Waco Surf
- Austin, TX: May 11th, Austin Gals and Pals Skate Meetup
- Salt Lake City, UT: May 15th-18th, Kilby Block Party
- San Francisco, CA: May 24th-25th, Carnaval Festival

Sun Bum is also teaming with the Skin Cancer Foundation for the 3rd consecutive year, sponsoring the annual Destination Healthy Skin–bringing free skin cancer screenings and education to communities nationwide. To further amplify the campaign's impact, Sun Bum will unveil OOH displays in New York, San Diego, and Chicago. The brand will also distribute sun care resources across its social media platforms and website – rolling out content in partnership with talent like Ana Stowell, Graydon Cutler, Ava Jules, and Ella McFadin. Together, they'll use their platforms to inspire people to make sunscreen a daily habit and share helpful tips on sun protection.
