RICHMOND, Virginia, January 24, 2019 /PRNewswire/ --
Spoonfed Online Catering Software, a cloud-based SaaS providing a catering management system, has launched an updated UI (user interface) for concepts providing drop-off catering.
Spoonfed is a global solution being used throughout the US, Canada, UK, Ireland and Australia, as well as France and Belgium, including recently launched foreign language translations. Customers include Num Pang, Zucker's Bagels and Flour Bakery & Cafe. The UI update means that caterers using Spoonfed have significant branding options, and control over the look and feel of the e-commerce experience they offer their online guests who order drop-off catering online.
Michael Mayer, Vice President for North American Operations at Spoonfed, expects the new capabilities to be a "game changer" and is looking forward to top brands incorporating their designs into their catering online ordering platform: "Experts agree that consumers shop with retailers that share their own values. Caterers love that Spoonfed understands the importance of branding, with the system letting them apply their own brand to the online ordering site. This creates a seamless shopping experience between their own site and Spoonfed. In addition, there's a lot more potential for creative approaches that let caterers of every size create a fully branded site in a matter of minutes."
The Spoonfed system incorporates an online ordering platform specifically designed for drop-off catering, which is integrated with a module-based back-office that provides the business intelligence to ensure caterers have all the tools required to properly execute all aspects of their drop-off catering program. Modules include production reporting, menu management, credit card processing/invoicing, a full suite of reports, and customer feedback. Spoonfed replaces manual processes and systems into a centralized, system-based, process. * On average, caterers with Spoonfed received 23% more orders in 2018 than in 2017, with revenues up 27%.
