Spreadtrum LTE SoC Platform Powers SM-J320F / DS Samsung Galaxy J3 Smart Phones

Samsung SM-J320F / DS Galaxy J3 Google Android 5.1.1 based 5" Super AMOLED models support a VoLTE solution powered by Spreadtrum's LTE 28nm quad-core SoC Platform SC9830i, featuring a 1.5GB RAM/7.5GB Storage, a micro SD slot up to 128GB, supporting 1080p HD video and an 8 megapixel primary camera.
This highly integrated SoC platform consists of 28nm quad-core 1.5GHz ARM Cortex-A7 5-mode LTE (FDD/TDD LTE, TDSCDMA/WCDMA/HSPA(+) & GSM/GPRS/EDGE) baseband chip SC9830i, power management chip SC2723M, RF chip SR3593S, and Spreadtrum's 3in1 connectivity chip SC2331S.
As Spreadtrum's first LTE mobile processor adopted for Samsung Galaxy J3, the SC9830i has been completely custom designed to power Samsung's 4G smart phones. Featured with CSFB, VoLTE and ViLTE voice solutions, SC9830i realizes high date transmission and stable voice communication. The chip also integrates NEON multi-media processing engine and multi-standard multimedia accelerators, supporting 1080P HD video and a 13 megapixel camera. The highly integrated SC2723 power management IC optimized for 3G/4G handsets and smart phones, provide a low cost power solution for platform. The SC2331S connectivity chip incorporates Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0 A2DP, LE and FM RDS solutions with standard peripherals, simplified hardware design and product calibration.
