Squire Sanders Expands Global Finance Strength With Additional Cross-Border and Transportation Expertise

NEW YORK, May 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Squire, Sanders & Dempsey is expanding its global finance capability with the addition of partner Marianne Rosenberg and of counsel Jill Davidson. The duo will be based in Squire Sanders' growing New York office.

Rosenberg is a well-known and respected member of the global financial world whose career includes leadership roles at previous firms White & Case LLP, where she was head of the Equipment and Facility Finance Group and Linklaters LLP, where she was the U.S. managing partner. She is one of only four lawyers worldwide to be named a "market shaper" by Airfinance Journal.

Rosenberg has law degrees from the Universite de Paris II, Faculte de Droit (Maitrise) and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She advises clients on cross-border financings and other transactions, working with banks, railroads, hedge funds, private equity funds and energy companies operating throughout Europe and the United States. Davidson received her J.D. in 2002 from Harvard Law School and her B.A., summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Columbia University in New York. Her practice focuses on finance and acquisitions including asset and structured finance.
