S&T Bank Announces Smart Start(SM) Scholarship Recipients

INDIANA, Pa., June 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- S&T Bank (NASDAQ: STBA), a full-service financial institution with branch locations in 10 Pennsylvania counties, is pleased to award four exceptional local students with $1,000 each in college scholarships as part of the S&T Bank Smart Start(SM) Scholarship Program 2012.  The recipients of this year's scholarships are:

• Katelyn Carr, a 2012 graduate of Blairsville High School, will attend Wright State University where she plans to pursue a pre-medicine degree.
• Grace Gongaware, a 2012 graduate of Kiski Area High School, will attend Cleveland Institute of Art to study illustration and graphic design.
• Caleb Ludwig, a 2012 graduate of Indiana Area Senior High School, will attend Geneva College to study civil engineering.
• Tiffany Scalise, a 2012 graduate of Marion Center High School, will attend Indiana County Technology Center's Adult Education Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Program.  She will later attend college to become a registered nurse.
