S&T Bank Appoints Amy Heinl as Senior Vice President, Deputy Chief Risk Officer

INDIANA, Pa., April 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- S&T Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: STBA), a full-service financial institution with branch locations in 10 Pennsylvania counties, is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Amy Heinl to senior vice president, deputy chief risk officer.  In this role, Heinl will work with the bank's chief risk officer on corporate governance efforts and a risk management program.  She will also be responsible for the bank's independent audit, compliance and loan review functions.

At the Federal Reserve Bank, Heinl was most recently vice president and was responsible for the Treasury Retail Securities Business.  In this role, Heinl developed strategic direction and provided leadership for business lines working directly with the senior management at the Federal Reserve Bank and the U.S. Treasury.  Before that role, she was assistant vice president at the Pittsburgh branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, where she was responsible for the Treasury Retail Securities operations at the Pittsburgh office, which serviced the investors for the U.S. Savings Bond Program and the Treasury Marketable Securities.  Heinl held various other positions during her career with the Federal Reserve, including fiscal securities supervisor; manager of the Central Savings Bond Redemption Operation; and assistant vice president, operations and consolidation. 

Ms. Heinl received a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is currently pursuing her MBA in international business from South University.  She also completed the Weatherhead School of Management Certificate Program at Case Western Reserve University.
