STANCRAFT-LED INVESTOR GROUP ANNOUNCES PLAN TO REIMAGINE TEMPLIN'S ON THE RIVER AND MARINA 33

Repositioning effort will honor Templin's 40-year legacy while expanding Marina 33's live music, dining, boating and slip ownership offerings for the Post Falls community 

POST FALLS, Idaho, Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- StanCraft, a Hayden, Idaho-based family of companies, together with an investor group, today announced the next step in its long-term effort to reposition Templin's on the River ("Templin's"), the landmark hotel and resort that has anchored Post Falls' waterfront for four decades. The hotel will close on October 23^rd, 2026, while the ownership group evaluates options to reinvigorate the property, which may include remodeling or redevelopment. Throughout this process, Marina 33 continues to grow as one of the region's most vibrant gathering places on the water. 

Since acquiring the waterfront hotel, bar and marina in 2024, StanCraft and its partners have invested steadily in the property by refreshing amenities, introducing new food and beverage offerings, enhancing the grounds, and expanding Marina 33 and its offerings for boaters and the broader community. Now, following a comprehensive assessment of the property's potential, the ownership group has determined that the best path forward is to close the hotel while it evaluates how to reposition the property, with the goal of elevating the guest experience while preserving what has always made Templin's and Marina 33 special: their deep roots on the Spokane River.

A New Chapter on the Water for Marina 33
While the hotel is closed and next steps are evaluated, Marina 33 remains open, fully operational, and central to StanCraft's vision for the waterfront. The marina has become a true gathering place — where neighbors and visitors come together on the river — and StanCraft is continuing to invest in the experiences that make Marina 33 special, including live music, artisan food trucks, and family-friendly events that bring the community together throughout the season. 

Boaters and visitors can also look forward to expanded amenities designed to make the most of life on the Spokane River, including: 

• Boat and water sport rentals for a day on the river 
• A new fixed pier boardwalk along the water's edge 
• Public side-tie and day parking for boats, making it easier than ever to spend a day on the water 
• Slip rentals and slip ownership opportunities, for those who want to put down roots on the water for years to come
