SANDUSKY, Ohio, Jan. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- At 9am today, Ynez Henningsen, a multiple sclerosis patient and first-time cannabis consumer, became the first patient in Ohio to be served by the state's medical marijuana program. Henningsen made the state's first legal purchase at The Forest in Sandusky, Ohio.
"This is a very exciting day for the thousands of Ohioans who will benefit from having access to medical marijuana," said Henningsen. "It is an honor to be part of such a vital program."
Henningsen is a veteran of the United States Air Force and currently serves as Special Projects Manager for Standard Wellness Company, LLC.
