Stanley Brandford Runs For Baltimore City Sheriff 2018

BALTIMORE, Dec. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Proud resident, Stanley Brandford, announces his 2018 campaign for Baltimore City Sheriff. As a proud US Veteran who served as a Marine, a husband, father of five and 28 years of decorated service in The Baltimore Police Department Mr. Brandford is prepared to lead change in the community. Vested interest is held to see the youth propel into great citizens. Fostering positive police, sheriff and community relations is at the heart of this native's message.

Running for this position is a natural progression for Brandford. Holding the position of Chief of Criminal Investigations for The Baltimore Police Department granted the opportunity for Stanley to fight crime and build bridges in the faction of Baltimore. That experience will be integrated into his plans for jump-starting The Baltimore Sheriff's department into the 21st Century community outreach approach to law enforcement.

With a simple goal and motto of, "WE CAN DO MORE!" this campaign will give a new vision to how the Sheriffs' department engages in crime prevention for youth. Brandford has a four part strategy plan for integration of The Baltimore Sheriff's Department within the city and it's main functions of protecting the city as well as the Courthouse and Juvenile Justice Center (JCC) while focusing on Public Safety and strengthening connection with schools. Stanley stated regarding his announcement, "I want to extend the footprint of the sheriff's office outside of the courthouse." The cornerstone of change is centered around the at risk youth and emerging programs for ex-offenders.

January 5, 2018 marks the date of the official press conference for the announcement of the campaign. The plan will be released to the press at the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Museum 901 W Pratt St, Baltimore, MD 21223. The Press Conference will take place between 11 am to 12 noon.
