Stanley Martin Homes Experiences Sales Success with Oakton East Luxury Townhomes

RESTON, Va., May 31, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Stanley Martin Homes is continuing to experience great success with sales in its Oakton East community. In the short time it has been open for sale, Stanley Martin has already sold 25 of the community's 35 luxury townhomes.

Oakton East created a lot of buzz early on; by the time it opened for off-site sales, there were over 300 people on the interest list. The community hit pre-sales goals before the model was even built.

Within the first 30 days Stanley Martin sold seven townhomes. Another five were sold during the remainder of the pre-sales period with closing prices ranging from very high $600s to low $900s. These townhomes were sold off-site, from their headquarters in Reston. Many purchasers bought homes solely based off of blueprints as the on-site model was not yet open and the models were new and not offered in any of Stanley Martin's other communities.

Oakton East features three floorplans. The Blake, the smallest of the three, starts out at a little less than 2,700 square feet and includes three levels of finished living space.  The Oxford and The Sussex are larger than traditional townhomes, providing 3,700 – 3,800 square feet of living space. All three models include a 2-car garage, 3 bedrooms and 2 full and 2 half baths to 3 full and 1 half baths, and a deck standard.

Oakton East is perfectly located in an extremely desirable location. Residents can take advantage of many popular shopping destinations - like Fair Oaks Mall, Tyson's Corner, and Downtown Vienna – all within 6 miles. To make for an easy commute, I-66 and the Vienna Metro are both less than three miles away. Additionally, the community feeds into some of the area's best schools. 

One of the 10 remaining townhomes available for purchase is the professionally-decorated Model Home. The beautiful home is a Sussex model that is Move-In-Ready with delivery expected around September or October.

Stanley Martin is gearing up to open two new communities in the coming months: Summit Oaks, single family homes in Lorton, and Cardinal Grove, single family homes in Woodbridge.
