Starfruit Cafe to Provide Healthy Kefir Treats at Naked Fitness Event

CHICAGO, Nov. 1, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Starfruit Cafe, home of healthy frozen treats made from Lifeway Kefir, is partnering with Andrea Metcalf, NBC Chicago's fitness expert and author of Naked Fitness: The Proven 28-Day Weight Loss Program for a Slimmer, Fitter, Pain-Free Body, to host the Naked Fitness Lifestyle Makeover—Shape Up Chicago Walk in Chicago on November 2. Starfruit Cafe will lend its great tasting healthy, natural and organic dairy treats to the event, which will focus on healthy eating and starting a 30-day fitness plan to increase self-confidence.

The Shape Up Chicago Walk will kick-off at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Starfruit Cafe in Chicago's Merchandise Mart. Starfruit Cafe will have healthy treats and refreshments on hand, as well as information about the benefits of the probiotics found in Lifeway Kefir before and after the walk. More than $1,000 in prizes will be awarded to participants throughout the duration of Andrea Metcalf's Naked Fitness Lifestyle Makeover, including yoga mats, gym shoes, Rollerblades and a workout session in the Naked Fitness Challenge December 1 with Metcalf, a regular Today Show and Oprah.com contributor.

Metcalf's classes were designed to inspire people to change their bodies and minds through personalized workouts and specially designed meals. Beauty consultations and product demonstrations will also be part of the event.
