Starz Announces Resignations of Overture Films Executives

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., July 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Chris Albrecht, president and chief executive officer of Starz, LLC, announced that Overture Films executives, Chris McGurk and Danny Rosett, tendered their resignations today due to differences over the strategic direction of the company.  Peter Adee, president, worldwide marketing, distribution and new media for Overture, will assume day-to-day operational responsibilities for the company and report directly to Albrecht.
