PALO ALTO, Calif., June 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Stash Hotel Rewards™ announced today that eight additional hotels have joined the loyalty program, where travelers can earn and redeem points for stays at some of the best independent hotels in North America. Since launching a month ago, Stash has quickly become the largest points-based loyalty program for independent hotels in the U.S. with 73 properties in 55 cities.

Founded by travel and technology innovators from Microsoft and Expedia, Stash is a flexible rewards currency shared exclusively by many of the country's best independent hotels.  Stash provides a way for hotels to recognize their most loyal guests and attract frequent travelers without the restrictions and fees that can come with joining a big chain.

"We've been overwhelmed by the interest we've received from independent hotels since launching just a month ago—with requests from hundreds of hotels from around the world—from London to Fiji, Prague to Hawaii," said Jeff Low, CEO of Stash.  "We are proud today to add such great, one-of-a-kind properties as Hotel Teatro, Hotel Andra and The Georgian Terrace to the ever-growing list of authentic, independent hotels where travelers can earn Stash points."

For travelers, the program is free to join and allows them to quickly earn free nights at some of the country's best hotels, from historic inns to boutique gems to top-rated resorts.  These remarkable properties have some of the highest "recommend" ratings on top travel sites, and many have been recognized on the "best" lists of leading travel publications.

This next wave of partner hotels expands the number of key leisure and business destinations where travelers will be able to earn Stash points, with new cities including Atlanta, Denver, Washington D.C., Daytona Beach, and Vancouver, British Columbia. Other new partners add depth and further choice in Los Angeles, Seattle and New York.  The new partners include:

  • Hotel Andra, Seattle, WA
  • Hotel Teatro, Denver, CO
  • On The Avenue Hotel, New York, NY
  • Opus Hotel Vancouver, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
  • The Georgian Terrace Hotel, Atlanta, GA
  • The Orlando, Los Angeles, CA
  • The Shores Resort & Spa, Daytona Beach, FL
  • Washington Court Hotel on Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C.
