The Stellic Partner Summit comes as colleges and universities grapple with the implications of AI for core student success functions, including advising, registration and transfer credit evaluation. A 2025 national survey by WCET found that higher education professionals identified efficiency as the technology's leading benefit, cited by 74% of respondents, followed by stronger data analysis at 58% and more timely interventions at 50%. Yet most institutions described their adoption as limited to pilots or scattered use, while 30% reported offering no AI training for students—highlighting the need to pair emerging capabilities with clear strategies, thoughtful safeguards and human oversight.

Against that backdrop, the Stellic Partner Summit provides a forum for campus leaders to address persistent challenges that can slow students' progress and strain institutional capacity. Sessions focus on replacing term-end graduation clearance fire drills with reliable, scalable processes; giving students and advisors faster answers about degree requirements; and keeping academic audits accurate as curricula and program rules change.

A dedicated panel featuring registrars and student success leaders from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, the University of Nebraska at Kearney and Indiana University will examine where emerging technology can meaningfully improve student support, which decisions require particular caution and how institutions can preserve transparency and human judgment as new capabilities enter everyday workflows.

Participating institutions include Columbia University and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, which will share lessons from rebuilding graduation clearance; New York University, which will discuss executing a fast, high-quality rollout across multiple schools; Cornell University, which will address the balance between institutional alignment and departmental autonomy; and Texas Christian University and the University of Delaware, which will share strategies for building and scaling more proactive advising models. The Ohio State University will discuss its work to bring greater clarity and efficiency to transfer credit evaluation.
