Stephen Marino Joins agencyQ as Chief Operating Officer

Lead Digital Strategist on BP DeepWater Horizon Crisis to Transform Firm into Leading Social Web Agency

WASHINGTON, Nov. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- agencyQ, a leading digital agency based in Washington, DC announced today that Steve Marino has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer, a newly created global role, in partnership with Sean Breen, Founder and Chief Executive Officer and Bob Poulin, President and Chief Strategy Officer.

Mr. Marino is joining agencyQ after working for two years at MSLGroup where as North American Director of Digital & Social Media, he was responsible for strategic counsel, digital investments and partnerships for the network. Prior to that, Mr. Marino was Senior Vice President of social@Ogilvy where he led digital strategy for the BP crisis. Marino and Poulin worked together previously at Magnet Interactive and were a part of the management team that brought together four agencies to form AKQA back in the early 2000's.

Additionally, he will begin to develop new social media focused services and offerings, creating a holistic social web agency.
