StepStone Group Expands Presence in Latin America
New Executive Joins StepStone in Peru to Direct the Firm's Growing Business Development Activity and Latin American Clientele
NEW YORK and SÃO PAULO, Nov. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- StepStone Group, a global private markets specialist, has opened its second Latin American office in Lima, Peru and hired Shannon Bolton (formerly of Capital Strategies Partners) as a managing director.
In addition to running StepStone's Lima office, Ms. Bolton will lead the Firm's business development activities in the Andean region. Ms. Bolton, a 10-year veteran of the industry in Latin America, joins StepStone from Capital Strategies Partners, where she led the placement agent's efforts in the Andean Region. Before that, she spent over five years at LarrainVial SA, Chile's largest investment bank, where she focused on institutional sales. Ms. Bolton received a BS in business in administration from Boston University's Carroll School of Management.
