CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Sterling Capital Management LLC (Sterling) announced today the addition of three equity funds previously managed by Stratton Management Company (Stratton): Mid Cap Value, Small Cap Value and Real Estate. Effective today, these funds are now part of Sterling's lineup of 25 mutual funds, offering investors access to a variety of asset classes and sectors.
The Sterling Capital Stratton Mid Cap Value Fund is for investors who desire a focus on capital appreciation, are seeking equity exposure to the mid-capitalization segment of the U.S. equity market, and are investing for retirement or other long-term goals. The Sterling Capital Stratton Real Estate Fund is for investors who seek total return through real estate securities. In pursuing total return, the fund emphasizes both capital appreciation and current income.
