Steward Partners And Raymond James Welcomed 40 New Partners In 2016: End Year With New Advisor To Join $150 Million Bethesda Team

WASHINGTON, Dec. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Steward Partners Global Advisory LLC, an employee-owned, full service independent partnership associated with Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. (member FINRA/SIPC), announced today it ended the year with the addition of 40 new partners; including 25 wealth managers who collectively oversaw over $2.75 billion in assets and produced over $19 million in revenue from six different firms.  Additionally, Steward also opened three new locations: Manchester and Keene, New Hampshire and Albany, New York and added two new members to the leadership team: New England Divisional President Jim Connors in October and Senior Operations Manager Steve Lynch in November.The last addition of the year is in Bethesda, Maryland as financial advisor, Sandy Kafetz has rejoined former colleagues and current Steward Partners' Rodger Friedman and Joe Wong.

Steward's Record Year and Astonishing Growth

During 2016, Steward Partners introduced several additional features and new partnerships. Earlier in the year the firm announced the launch of its own Registered Investment Advisor, Steward Partners Investment Advisory and also announced a new partnership with Universal Insurance Services to offer high level insurance solutions to ultra-high net worth families and executives. Steward Partners now has 90 partners in eight locations and has recruited close to $5 billion in assets and nearly $35 million in revenue since its official launch in late 2013.

Bethesda Maryland Team Reunites with Former Colleague

Former Morgan Stanley advisor Kafetz joins Friedman and Wong at Steward Partners in Bethesda, Maryland.  Friedman and Wong oversee nearly $150 million in client assets, and produced more than $1.3 million in annual revenue at Steward Partners. Jeff Gonyo, Divisional President of Steward Partners Global Advisory said, "The formation of this team here in Bethesda allows all three advisors to complement each other's talents and skillsets.
