Steward Partners Crosses over $2 Billion in Recruited Assets with Recent Addition of Advisors in Portsmouth, NH

WASHINGTON, Nov. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Steward Partners Global Advisory LLC, an employee-owned, full service independent partnership, affiliated with Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. (member FINRA/SIPC) announced today that Gary Walker, senior vice president and branch manager, and Christopher "Chris" Nee, managing director and wealth manager, have left the Portsmouth, NH offices of Oppenheimer & Co., to join Steward Partners, both as Founding Partners. Nee and Walker have over 40 years of combined experience serving clients as wealth managers. Together, they will bring $175 million in assets under management and $1.7 million in revenue to Steward Partners. Walker will join Steward as the New England sales director, and Nee as managing director and wealth manager.

With the addition of Nee and Walker, Steward Partners, which celebrated its second anniversary in September, has crossed the $2 billion threshold in recruited assets since inception. The firm, which utilizes the Raymond James platform and support services, has opened offices in four states with several more planned over the next twelve months. Steward's rapid expansion establishes it as one of the fastest growing full service independent partnerships in the country.
