This year's highly-anticipated cross-platform promotion runs from October 1st through October 31st – just in time to kick off hunting season. Gear Up and Go! is filled with an array of giveaways worth thousands of dollars that have been furnished by numerous Outdoor Channel advertising partners.
Throughout October, the network, by way of on-air spots, will encourage its viewers to enter the sweepstakes for the chance to win daily and grand prizes via OutdoorChannel.com. From the main site, entrants can click through to a dedicated Gear Up and Go! microsite, which features participating sponsors and a full listing of the prizes that are up for grabs. To further engage with audiences about the sweepstakes, Outdoor Channel will incorporate the use of its social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
