QUINCY, Mass., June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company LLC has announced a voluntary recall of its store brand fully cooked, bone-in Buffalo, Barbecue (BBQ) and Teriyaki Wings sold in its deli department through June 10, 2010. The products are being recalled because they could contain an undeclared allergen not identified on the label. The products could contain any of the following: soy, wheat, milk or egg. People who have allergies to any of these products run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reactions if they consume this product.
The products recalled from sale were sold in the deli department and are labeled as follows:
- TY Wings of Fire HT
- TY Wings of Fire CD
- TY Wings of Fire 2 LB
- TYS BBQ CHIX Wings HT
- TYS BBQ CHIX Wings CD
- TYS BBQ CHIX Wings 2LB
- SB Teriyaki Chicken Wing
- TYS JMBO Teri Wings 2LB
- TYS JMBO Teri Wings CD
To date, Stop & Shop has received no reports of illness associated with consumption of this product. Customers who have purchased the affected products should discard any unused portions and bring their purchase receipt to Stop & Shop for a full refund.
