StorageCraft to exhibit, preview new backup, disaster recovery solution at VMworld 2014

DRAPER, Utah, Aug. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The StorageCraft^® Technology Corporation exhibit road show stops next week in San Francisco for VMworld 2014 at the Moscone Center. During the event, StorageCraft, a leader in backup and disaster recovery solutions for virtual, hybrid and physical environments, will preview to the public and media for the first time its StorageCraft Plug-in for VMware, which is slated to become available in the fourth quarter of 2014 to users of the award-winning StorageCraft ShadowProtect^® software.

In addition to the ability to monitor the status of virtual machine (VM) backups, users will be able to view all VMs running on a hypervisor host and detect which VMs are not protected by the ShadowProtect agent automatically.

The plug-in will give users the capability to install a ShadowProtect agent to any unprotected VMs quickly and easily, and apply a pre-configured backup job so protection can start immediately. Another important new feature that users will appreciate is that the plug-in will allow them to start, pause and resume a backup job.
